Stephane Genevay

Pr Stephane Genevay is associated professor and senior attending physician in Rheumatology at Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève, Switzerland. He is in charge of the multidisciplinary spine unit. His line of research is dedicated to sciatica and CLBP with more than 70 papers published in peer reviewed journals. He has been in charged of the EULAR e-learning module on back pain ; he is very active in EUROSPINE, member of the Membership committee, liaison officer between the educational committee and the EDISC committee, co-chairing a module for the European Diploma in Spine Surgery, and faculty of 2 modules in the Eurospine Diploma in Interdisciplinary Spine Care (EDISC). His current field of research are: validation of biomarkers derived from sENMG, subgrouping back pain patients thanks to a biopsychosocial model, using immersive reality to better understand LBP and improve primary care for these patients thanks to an innovative multidimensional approach.
